Hello!

I'm Jessica MSOT ! I am a bilingual pediatric occupational therapist for over 7 years, owner and creator of Foundations to Flourish Therapy and Adaptive Little Chefs. I received by Bachelor of Science and Masters of Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac University.  I am currently completing my Post Professional Occupational Therapy Doctorate from Boston University.  I am currently AOTA licensed in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Michigan.

My Story

My occupational therapy journey began when I learned at a young age that one of my childhood friends was diagnosed with Autism. As we grew up together, I became aware and learned about the services and teachers that helped her in school and after school. I later knew that my passion for working with children would differ from a teacher and so I found occupational therapy. It was and is a field that allows child led play, exploration and learning with the consistency of supporting their developmental needs.

Throughout my career I have worked with toddlers, preschool, school age and high school students. My experience includes children 6 month- 21 years of age in early intervention and preschool settings in NYC, Boston Public Schools, and McLean Hospital Pathways Academy in Boston. Within these settings I have provided service to children whom were diagnosed or presented with autism, ADHD, developmental delays, fine and gross motor weakness, executive functioning, handwriting, sensory and neurological difficulties. I am able to execute, initial consultations, evaluations, interventions, home programs as needed. I have regularly collaborated with teachers, physical therapists, speech therapists, board certified behavior analysts, social workers, and psychologists, With each new setting I was able to learn new skills to refine my provision of service.

I am a dedicated, fun, creative, empathic, and collaborative  practitioner that has always worked well with families and related professionals. I pride myself in providing client- centered and  up to date evidence based practice.  I enjoy planning engaging therapeutic sessions for my patients, working in the least restrictive and natural environments and incorporating families in the practice to ensure carry over of skills. I am passionate about empowering, advocating and building strong connections with children and their families. At FTF Therapy I hope to provide virtual and in-person  meaningful, fun, occupation based,  activities that ultimately support your child to grow and flourish!

On my past time I enjoy to bake and spend time with family and friends.! My love and passion for stirring up messes in the kitchen, learning about accessibility and my field of pediatric OT has led me to build and create Adaptive Little Chefs!
