   • Occupational therapy for children focuses on helping them develop the skills needed for everyday activities, such as self-care, school tasks, and play, to enhance their independence and quality of life.

2. ​How do I know if my child needs occupational therapy?

   • Children are referred for occupational therapy for a variety of reasons. Toddlers may be referred due to delays in their developmental milestones including fine motor skills, gross motor skills, hand eye coordination and motor planning. School-age children may be referred by a teacher if they notice a student struggling to write legibly or use school supplies like scissors, social interactions and attention. Students may also be referred for help with organization skills or self-regulation

3. What age groups do you serve?

   • We provide services for children of all ages.

4. Do you offer telehealth services?

   • Yes, we offer both in-person and telehealth services to ensure flexibility and accessibility for our clients.

5. How do I schedule an appointment?

6. What should I expect during my child's first session?

   • The initial session involves an assessment and discussion of your child's needs. The therapist will then create a customized treatment plan.

7. Is occupational therapy covered by insurance?

   • FTF Therapy services is a private or self pay concierge practice. FTF goes above and beyond to provide individualized consultations and therapeutic interventions to children of all ages. At this time FTF  is considered  " Out of Network" with insurance. An individual superbill can be provided at families request in order for them to reach out to their own plans for reimbursement.
